Cultural Diversity Week

March 11, 2016 - March 21, 2016

12th – 21st March – Cultural Diversity Week

About Cultural Diversity Week

Cultural Diversity Week brings together Victorians from all walks of life to promote community harmony and celebrate the many cultures that make our state so vibrant.

Coordinated by the Victorian Multicultural Commission, the week-long celebration coincides with the United Nations Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 21 March.

Celebrate with your fellow Victorians from 12-20 March 2016 at hundreds of events and activities across the state.

Festivities will begin with one of the most popular nights of the year, the Premier’s Gala Dinner on Saturday 12 March, and conclude with Victoria’s Multicultural Festival at Federation Square.

Aboriginal-Flag

UMFC acknowledges the First Peoples of Australia as the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We acknowledge their culture is a living one, which relates to their ongoing connection to all things living and non-living on land, sea and sky. We pay our respect to their elders past and present. May our children of today lead us to a better tomorrow.
