Care Collective is where children are supported short term by a small team of foster carers who work together, sharing care (6 weeks at a time) and providing built‑in flexibility and support. This team approach helps prevent children from entering residential care and supports smooth transitions into foster, kinship, or family reunification. Care Collective carers are never alone. Care is time‑limited, well supported, and makes a real difference at a critical point in a child’s life. The Care Collective offers a flexible, supported way to foster ideal for carers who want to help but need balance, teamwork, and wrap around increased support.
