Kath has been working in the Social Work field 27 years in a range of leadership and management roles in Child and Family Services, Women’s Health, Community Development and Disability Services.
Kath has an academic background in Social Work and Business Management. Kath is passionate about children’s voices being heard and that they have every opportunity to reach their full potential in life and grow up strong.

Melinda has a background in early childhood, tertiary education and academics, then moved in to leadership in the out of home care and family services sector. Melinda has worked in education and non for profit organisations for the last 20 years, gaining an understanding of the importance of people in our community having access to learning and support to build connections throughout their lives. Melinda has qualifications in early childhood, educational leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership. Melinda is the Executive Sponsor of the Sanctuary Model, having worked within the framework and in previous roles being a part of the certification process over a three year period.

Melinda has lived experience as a carer and is the proud parent of three children, and alongside her husband calls Yackandandah home.

Marcus is a Chartered Accountant with 28 years of experience across finance, strategy, and business support functions.  His career has encompassed a range of industries in local and international settings, providing him with a broad and informed perspective on organisational stewardship and systems that support effective service delivery.

In his role as Executive Director of Finance and Strategy, Marcus is committed to advancing the organisation’s mission through strong strategic leadership and responsible financial management. Marcus places particular importance on supporting teams in their essential work with clients.

Having been born and raised locally, Marcus finds it incredibly rewarding to bring his diverse skills and global experience back to UMFC, contributing to the organisation’s story and strengthening its impact in the community.

Appointed to the Board 25 March 2021. Tracy has previous worked in both Marketing and HR at local organisations such as Gateway Health, Albury Wodonga Health and Mars Petcare. Currently she is the Chief People and Capability Officer for The Riverina Dairy. Tracy enjoys giving back to the community and is also on the committee of the Kiewa Sandy Creek Netball Club.

With extensive experience in leading people, culture, and organisational capability, Tracy brings strategic insight and practical expertise to her governance role. She is passionate about community engagement and the opportunity it provides to deliver positive outcomes for all our community, irrespective of cultural, geographic, or socio-economic challenges.

Appointed to the Board on 25 October 2011, Robyn is the Regional Lead at Vision Australia. Formerly the Executive Director Corporate Operations at Northeast Health Wangaratta and the Operations Director Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, Robyn also worked as CEO for Tallangatta Health Service and CEO for the Queen Elizabeth Centre Early Parenting Public Hospital. Robyn also has a history of employment in Health and Safety & Environment. Sitting on Boards with Yarrawonga Health and Wodonga City Council.

Appointed to the Board on 25th November 2019, Jacqui is currently an Audit Manager with Crowe Albury, with a strong focus on the not-for-profit sector. Jacqui previously worked with YES Unlimited and has held a number of voluntary positions with community-based organisations.

With a warm passion for the welfare and care of children and families in our community, Dean was first appointed to the UMFC Board in October 2012 and is proud to have held the positions of Treasurer (2013-2019) and Chair (2019-2026).

As a Partner in National Business Advisory firm RSM, Dean is a trusted commercial and business advisor and he pursues best practice and effective Governance and Leadership principles for the UMFC Board and Executive. Dean is a a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The successful implementation of the new Strategic Plan and providing strong stewardship to the organisation is his priority at this time.

Meagan has an academic background in Marketing and PR and is currently the Specialist Channel Director at Mars Pet Nutrition based in Wodonga. She has worked at Mars for the last 17 years, in a variety of Sales and Marketing leadership roles.

Meagan is a dedicated and active advocate for equity and ally in our community and is a member of the Inclusion and Diversity Leadership Team at Mars. Meagan is the current President of the Parents Club at Bandiana Primary and also a proud business mentor of First Nation start up business’.

With two small children of her own, Meagan is a passionate believer that every child and young person should be cared for.

Appointed to the Board on 23rd February 2017, Paul practiced as a solicitor, most recently with Robb & Associates, specialising in Criminal and Personal Injury until retirement in June 2016.

Catherine Coysh is a proud Gunditjmara Woman from Lake Condah Mission in south-west Victoria, raised and living on Duduroa (Wodonga) Country. She is an Executive Director of On-Country Pathways, an Indigenous not-for-profit organisation supporting Aboriginal young people culturally safe mentoring and employment pathways across regional communities.

Catherine brings experience in governance, strategy, and organisational oversight across the not-for-profit and Aboriginal Community Controlled sectors. She has an academic background in psychology, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is known for developing innovative and sustainable strategies that deliver long-term impact.

Catherine holds a strong belief in holistic, proactive care models and that strong communities are built by investing in young people and families. She is deeply committed to culturally safe governance that supports long-term outcomes.

When Catherines not dedicating herself to community, she can usually be found at sporting stadiums or football ovals around Victoria, supporting her daughters in junior sports.

Appointed to the Board on the 23rd of February 2024, Marni is currently the General Manager of Customer and Culture at North East Water where she leads everything to do with customers, human resources, OHS / wellbeing and payroll. She is a contributor to the North East Water Board including the People and Culture Committee. She has also had significant local government experience having led people and culture functions for over 15 years. Marni has led organisational transformation relating to organisational redesign, performance management, and organisational development amongst many other things. Through her experience Marni has developed a significant appreciation for community based services and the impact they have.

Marni has had a lifelong love of learning  and has a Bachelor of Health Science, Occupational Therapy; Graduate Diploma of Management and a Masters in Human Resource Management, incorporating a Graduate Certificate in Training and Development. Marni is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’.

Marni loves living in Wodonga.

Appointed to the Board in February 2024. His previous experience working with Albury Wodonga Health has seen him in the roles of Performance Unit Manager and as the Business Intelligence & ICT Applications Manager. Cam has a wealth of experience in ICT operations, performance and accountability, risk management, project governance, and business continuity. Currently is the Senior Manager Information Assets – Murray PHN.
