Give a Gift
Community support is growing for our Give a Gift appeal.
We have an ever increasing number of community groups, community organisations, businesses and individuals to thank. UMFC’s Give a Gift Appeal is aimed at providing a Christmas gift for every child and young person who would usually go without.
Last year, with your generous support, UMFC has distributed Christmas gifts to over 380 vulnerable children in our local community. Thank you to everyone who donated, everyone who donated or even spread the word.
Gift Ideas
Direct Donation
A donation of any amount goes directly to children and young people in need during the festive season. Donations may be used for purchasing gift cards, craft or toys indivdualised to a child or young person’s key interests or needs.
Movie Vouchers and Gift Cards
Enjoying a night out at the movies for children, young people and families in need is a treat that is getting harder to afford. Gift cards can enable UMFC to provide choice to children and young people to purchase their own items or for a carer or parent to purchase gifts they would otherwise may not be able to afford.
Books and Educational Resources
Donating books and educational resources supports learning and literacy in our communities. Your contribution can provide valuable resources that supports children’s development and helps expand knowledge and opportunities.
Back to School Supplies
Donating school supplies enables UMFC to assist families in need by ensuring that children have the necessary items for their education. Your contribution helps alleviate financial burdens and promotes equal access to learning opportunities for all students.
Donation of gifts
We welcome donations of new gifts for those aged newborn to 18 years prior to December, which ensures we can effectively coordinate and distribute items directly to carers and families caring for those who will receive them.
Personal Care Kits
A personal care donation supports families in need with essential hygiene, care and beauty products. Your gift helps promote dignity and well-being for individuals facing challenging circumstances.
