For Christmas 2026, we are pleased to again partner with the Centre Against Violence (CAV) and Gateway Health for a joint appeal!
Together supported even more people in need across the region. With continued pressures around cost of living this year the festive season is an especially challenging time for many families.
Our 2025 appeal saw over 618 children and young people received gifts and school supplies. This figure doesn’t include the additional 70 children we were able to support through passing on gifts to other community organisations. We thank the individuals, families, community groups and businesses who came together to spread the word and donate, showcasing the true spirit of our region.
Every donation we receive goes directly to help vulnerable local children, young people and families.
Gift Ideas
Financial Donation
A donation of any amount goes directly to children and young people in need during the festive season. Donations may be used for purchasing gift cards, craft or toys individualised to a child or young person’s key interests or needs.
Donation of gifts
We welcome donations of new gifts such as toys, books, sporting goods, art and craft supplies and gift cards for those aged newborn to 18 years. Gift cards can enable UMFC to provide choice to children and young people to purchase their own items or for a carer or parent to purchase gifts they would otherwise may not be able to afford.
