Family Violence in a Child’s World Workshop- for practitioners

Specialised training for practitioners 

This workshop is part of the Ovens Murray Community Services Stronger Together Practice and Connection Initiative.

This training will help professionals to:

• Understand what family violence is and how it hurts children
• Understand children and adolescents brain development and how this can be impacted by trauma
• Understand how to pivot blame away from the non-offending parent and keep perpetrators in the picture
• Build skills in talking with children about their experiences and ways to keep them safe.
